I decided to take yoga this year and it was one of the best decisions I have ever made. With the combined stress and anxiety of the pandemic, yoga was the perfect break from the "new normal". I feel healthier, I have better focus, and I feel way happier.
Evidence
over the year we did many journals and a project to show how we have progressed and improved. The first picture is a yoga pose that I chose to display for my queue card project and the second one is an example of the journals that we had that allowed me to express my thoughts.
Task 28: Looking back... One thing I accomplished was saving up and spending wisely in order to buy a car
One thing I tried and failed was to start learning russian but I want to try again
I am proud of myself for having a stable job
Description
Throughout the year, we had yoga 3 times per week. On Mondays we would do a core and band workout, Tuesdays we would do a longer yoga flow and a core workout, and Fridays we would do a band workout and a restorative flow. Every Wednesday we had a journal to complete and every week we had to do at least two workouts such as walks or going to the gym. We then posted the workouts to the strava app and shared them with our teacher on google classroom. Overall the work was not at an excess and I really enjoyed myself. y only weakness was flexibility because I used to be super flexible when I did gymnastics but since then I have lost most of my flexibility so it was difficult to get into some poses.

Reflection
Overall it was a great year, I learned a lot and become more open to new ideas. I got stronger and more flexible and I also became mentally tougher and happier. I learned how to do balance poses such as crow pose and I learned to focus more on the present and be a conscious learner. I could've done some things better such as getting my fitness logs turned in on time or getting better sleep so I could focus better while in yoga class. This ties in with communication and critical thinking (decision making).
